Purity of the silver, gold and other metals
All of the jewellery that I create is made from the purest materials I can source.
The silver is the purest at 99.9% (sterling silver, the most commonly used, is 92.5% silver). This means that, not only are you getting something exceptionally pure and therefore higher quality, but it stays looking silver longer than sterling, which tarnishes quicker owing to its copper content (sometimes zinc).
The gold I use to create the accents on the pure silver pieces is 24ct which is the purest gold that can be used to create jewellery. As it is so pure, it is only suitable to cover the silver. The silver provides the strength required for the jewellery to last. The gold provides the extravagance, contrast and clearly the high end look. Many of you love the gold contrast.
